:PGlad to see this board added to the forum. You are right, I think every woman has addressed weight loss at some point in theor lives. Definitely a lot to talk about on the subject. I'll be checking in often.

I think that gastric by-pass should only be considered as an absolute last resort!! People should stop and think about what actions (or lack thereof) lead to their current weight situation and try to remedy those first!!

Yes, gastric by-pass should be considered as a last resort, and for most it is! You can not go back.

Here's something to think about....do any of you recall how big "Big Mac" sandwiches used to seem when we were younger?!?! I was at a McDonald's recently and saw one and thought "How small is that!!!" And we wonder why so many of us are huge these days...look at the portions that we're being served in restaurants and even if our own homes!!! This is definitely a nation where "everything" is big these days!!!!

I was in a chat room last night and as always you get these perverts and jerks joking people about there weight. I am so glad i now have a place i can chat with people in peace. I met a few good people last night and i am trying to contact them again. Looking for Nessa (Vanessa) and Jessica. I could not find you on your myspace.
